Dokuz Eylul University Hospital and Ege University Hospital in Turkey have selected international medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra (STO: SECT B) as their vendor for handling radiology images. The solution will support increased reading efficiency through its performance and comprehensive toolset, thereby improving patient outcomes.

The purpose of the SPICE model is to provide a common core principle for different software process evaluation models and methods. Thus, the results of the evaluations are reported in a common context.

We attended the 39th National Radiology Congress held in Antalya on 7th-11th November 2018.
The participants were informed about our new portfolio and demo demonstrations were made about the products.

Apaz Medikal participated in the 16th held on October 6-11, 2018 in Kuşadası, İzmir.

Our Institution has won Ege University Hospital PACS contract and SECTRA PACS installation is finished and our support keeps going.

The aim of the project is to be able to access patient information, images and reports everywhere and at all times, and to increase the efficiency of routine tasks. With this solution, smooth integration with other information systems in the organization will be ensured and time loss in data sharing in case of emergency will be eliminated, problems that may occur in moving images and reports with CD and paper, and more efficient use of business lists and lean workflow will be provided.

Within the SECTRA PACS solution, the provider includes advanced applications such as an independent archive (VNA), advanced visualization tools for 3D, lesion tracking, anatomical connectivity and CT liver volume measurement and transplantation plan, MRI Prostate, CT Lung, MRI Cardiac etc.

Besides the radiology unit, special solutions will be offered to the units such as nuclear medicine, orthopaedics, organ transplantation. With these solutions, consultation will be provided over a single system without the need for additional tools between multidisciplinary units, and diagnosis will be assisted with helping applications which will facilitate the workflow of the unit.

ITIL, which provides support for one or more business units by managing IT services, is a library created by gathering best practices and experiences. There is service management and service delivery on the basis of IT Service Management, which is constantly associated with each other and cannot be separated from each other as parts of a whole, resulting in a total of eleven modules merged.
